Child Protection

Child protection and good practice in working with young people are at the very heart of what we do and Hebden Bridge Junior Band takes issues of child protection very seriously. All Committee members (including non-voting members), music teachers and our musical director are all CRB checked with Calderdale MBC, the local authority covering Hebden Bridge.

Hebden Bridge Junior Band subscribes to the National Federation of Brass Bands and follow their Child Protection policies and procedures. A copy of these procedures are always available for inspection at the Bandroom.

Junior Band has a designated Child Protection Officer. This is currently Anne Bridges.
